2025 was a great year for La Fiocco as we developed more into fiddle traditions, performed 13th-century cantinas, highlighted several apprentice artists, and teamed with Vocala Ensemble, a professional chamber choir based in New Jersey.
In the present 2025-2026 season, we will follow the customary English “Grand Tour” and perform music from several European capitals. Soprano Laura Heimes will return in June 2026 in “Heroes & Lovers,” with virtuosic arias and instrumental music honoring Cleopatra, Hercules, Arion, and others from mythology and real life. Carlos Fittante and BALAM Dance Theatre will perform with us in October 2026.
Immediately after our June 2023 concert, La Fiocco began a new project: La Fiocco TNG (“the next generation”). This project introduces several young artists and enables them to work up concert repertory for performances in new venues, including churches and special living communities.
