Joe Galdi

Joe Galdi holds a B.M. in Voice Performance and a B.S. in Psychology from West Chester University. He spent a year in graduate school at the University of Notre Dame studying Sacred Music for Voice with Metropolitan Opera soprano Jeni Houser. He trained at the Baroque Opera Workshop at Queens College under notable master teachers such as Drew Minter, Julianne Baird, Michael Beattie, and James Taylor in 2023 and 2024. Joe has performed several roles in collegiate operas, including the Old Lady and Candide in Bernstein’s Candide, Ruggiero in Handel’s Alcina, and Sorceress in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. Joe continues to pursue operatic and choral engagements with a special interest in early and Baroque music. He currently works as a substitute alto section leader with the Mendelssohn Chorus of Philadelphia. He makes his debut as a La Fiocco Next Generation Artist in December 2026.
